Now that we've seen Bush's Katrina briefing, there is no doubt that during the the two great crises this country faced, Bush has no business in the WH. He sat like a dummy after being notified of the WTC hits, then ran like a coward, finally deigned to speak to the public, embarassing this nation with his incoherence, his bobbing head, his inability to handle that crisis. Anyone else would not have risked lives in NOLA and would have acted to clear out the city, thereby saving 1500 lives. it wasn't only the poor who expected govt to act during this national catastrophe...relatively wealthy people staying at posh hotels demanded govt rescue them...which, of course, they were rescued - first.
