UAE isn't a squeaky clean ally. I heard there are some damning reports out this am about them helping Kahn, Hamas and triggers for nukes being shipped through Dubai...haven't looked around yet. Bush was once again let down by his inept staff. But you know I'd rather not have another micromanager like the peanut farmer.

I have been a strong advocate for profiling Arabs who want to fly into or within the U.S. This whole port thing reaffirms my suspicions that most politicians and many Americans are just plain hypocrites.

It seems rather stupid to not profile arabs who fly but profile those who wish to invest in America. If we're going to profile them we certainly should profile those who get on a plane. After all 9-11 didn't have anything to do with shipping.

We either profile them or we don't.........this kind of selectivity is dangerous and hypocritical.
