eracer,

Much to the dismay of some and cheering of others.

I have a question that I hope you can answer. what is the extent of disparity between Intel and AMD prices ? Does Dell pay more to Intel than H-P pays to AMD for same performance processor ? Does an Intel platform (processor, chipset, MoBo) cost more than an AMD for same performance ?

Many posts here have said AMD'a ASP is 100, to Intel's $150. Is that a like-for-like comparison ? Or is it company-wide, without accounting for mix ?

Thanks in advance.
