wow.. you did some digging alright. that stocrhsi 8,5 and 14 crossover system didn't work that well.. please note that the captain hook isn't a system persay, but just a symbol denoting that hook feature. the stochrsi 8,5 and 14 crossover system would look for mainly crosses.. but it turned out that there was alot of false signals. what you see visually can be very difficult to put into equations ;) thus the lack of a mechanical system.. the hook symbol is also useful when a stock breaks out and then consolidates. the hook symbol comes up and you check trix for good trend conditions, and you know it will rocket up on a rally. chris
