You attack pot while you defend corrupt politicians, pollution, nuclear weapons and quagmire wars? And as you defend the tobacco lobby, gun lobby and alcohol lobby which kill over a million Americans per year. Do you have any idea what a hypocrite you are?

Pot is one of the least of society's worries. It never kills and used moderately after work it's not harmful. It also makes people non-violent. The hemp plant which is also illegal should be used to make paper fiber, fabric, oils and even energy. It's natures super-material and the only reason it's illegal is becuse the timber lobby wants it illegal.

Pot itself should be decriminalized as it is now in Canada and most of Europe. We have more people in prison than the rest of the western world combined. And prison itself is extremely dangerous. No pot-smoker should ever be put in prison except overnight a la DUI maybe. The people who demonize pot are ignoring the real culprits, alcohol and cigarettes, plus the timber lobby and polluters. Though I'm not advocatinbg alcohol or tobacco be criminalized by any means. I'm not a prude, just realistic. Also, pot is much safer than many big Pharma tranquillizers. Big Pharma also lobbies to keep pot illegal because it's a tranquillizer anyone can grow for free in their backyard and that's like solar energy, which big oil lobbies against. The big corps want to make big profitsd off our needs. And the big corps corrupt the Bushie politicians.
