The only way that advanced aliens would not want to check us out up close is if they have already visited lots of worlds just like us and they are bored with the whole thing. Would an advance alien get in its space mobile and drive here? Or is it more likely they'd open a wormhole and look over your shoulder. Just set up an inverse tachyon beam routed through your forward array, launch an anti-matter spread and you will be able to detect it. Regards, Jay
