It is something I heard Stephen Jay Gould say a dozen times. Nothing Gould ever said disagrees with what I said. Nothing any theory of evoution disagrees with it. Evolution to all of them stops when a species develops a theory of evolution. Evolution doesn't have a goal or direction. According to all the races in the galaxy the goal of evolution is to take mind beyond material body.
