Many MILES of coastal barriers have been lost since dredging began in the 'thirties for the oil industry. We ain't talking about 'one' island.... but the storm missed the island anyway, so the greens stopping improvment on the levees look like the murderers. There are BIG PROBLEMS, and then there are little problems in New Orleans. You seem to be focusing on the trivial little issues... while ignoring the BIG ones.
