LOL. Yes, I posted that last one mostly tongue in cheek. But I do think that we will eventually have to go into an air war against Iran. I don't see the rest of the world being effective in putting a stop to their nuke ambitions with a diplomatic effort. Diplomacy was doomed from the start and we can blame that on Bush. With his series of mistakes and lack of using diplomacy when it counted, he has put us in a position where Iran really feels no threat not only from us but from the world. As such, you really can't blame Iran for acting the way they are acting. They think they can get away with it. You'd think they'd take a queue from Saddam. Saddam was asking his advisors all the way until the last minute if the US would really go through with the invasion. He didn't believe Bush would do it either. But he did. And he'll do it to Iran as well.

Can't say I'd be very sorry about it if he went to an air war with Iran. It would most definitely put the world into a global synchronized recession due to the impact on oil. But that might just get the market moving towards making us oil independent too. This in addition to ensuring that Iran doesn't get nukes. So maybe long term it is worth it.
