That's an insensitive comment. It shows a lack of empathy over the situation. I'm not a guy like you that can sit back in the luxury of experiencing 95%+ of Congress being MY gender. No, instead I spend my entire life thus far watching how Congress continually botches up women's issues and women's equality due to a complete lack of knowledge and exposure - whether that be for health care or many other things.

Your sarcasm shows you lack the understanding of value in diversity within a leadership structure. This lack of understanding is 180 degrees opposite what Intel trains its work force. I think you need to attend one of Intel's diversity training courses to get up to speed.

I know why my male friends support feminism - it's because they are highly competent individuals that do not feel threatened by women, they are perceptive in understanding the huge value in diversity, and they are extraordinarily intelligent people that fully realize they may lack the deep level of understanding on women's issues because they are not women. These are the men you will find at many of the hightech firms that are well-liked by both genders. I think they would be embarrassed if they saw you express sarcasm over diversity.
