Changing topic, what are centrist views on environmental concerns? It seems to me that the environment has turned into an issue totally dominated by the extremes. On one side you have those who would pave over or strip mine the whole earth with no concern for the consequences, including many who don't believe that there are consequences. On the other side you have those who have turned environmentalism into a religion where every blade of grass is sacred, we are doomed my man's greed, and the apocalypse is near. I would consider everything else centrist.
