That's fascinating information. I wonder how much of the Bush family fortune is invested in those Arab markets, and if that perhaps explains his mystifying veto threat over the Dubai ports deal? The ports deal had security aspects that caused political problems, but thousands of other potential investments in the US would not. If this is a reaction to the ports deal, don't you think it's an over-reaction? Or is the thumbs-down on the ports deal having a seismic political reaction in the Arab world that we're not seeing here?
