They are so steeped in the dogma that they refuse to let new facts alter their world view. Remember you have 1/3 reps, 1/3 dems and 1/3 independents (the first 2/3 only post on this thread). The independents are the ones you have to win; the Harris's will NEVER change. The mid-terms are hugely important; the Dems need to take over one of the houses. It would be worthwhile to figure a seat where the dem has a chance of taking the seat and work and/or contribute to that candidate. The Dems are too weak.....too afraid. They are backing away from Feingold's censure bill as fast as their little feet will carry them. I will be surprised if they win much in November. I don't think I have ever felt so disillusioned about this country.
