>>"Rebel's of Ireland"<<

Rutherford writes historical fiction in the James Michener style. My favorite of his is "Sarum", which covers thousands of years of history in the region of Salisbury, England. It places characters in diverse situations like the building of Stonehenge, the Roman invasion, the construction of Salisbury Cathedral, petty Medieval rules for marketing woolen cloth, the impact of the black plague, and expulsion of the Jews from England. I also liked two of his other novels: "Russka" and "The Forest".

I'll order "Rebels" via the link on your blog site so you get the credit. ;)
