Hi Chris I'm just a beginner. I started T.A. about a year ago. I'm a big fan of Silicon Invester T.A. Beginners and Stock Attack BB. I was lost with my tc2000 until I stumbled across Dave Evans posts on the Beginners BB. Since then T.A. has been making some sense. I having been paper trading mostly trying to get a feel for T.A. and what type of trading timeframe is right for me. Trader vs. invester? I have moved up to metastock 6.0. I'm using a StochRSI(14) Explorer scan that Dave Evan's showed us. From my nightly scan (Henry Brookins picks) I look for stocks with indicators with the following traits: StochRsi(14) just crossing 30. StochRsi(8,5,)above 30 Moving up MACD 9,17,9 breaking above 0 trigger Insync Index 30-50 moving up Dns 7,8 Dahl's Primary Trend above 0 line 30 day volume greater than 30,000 Price breaking above Parabolic Sar 5-30$ stocks If any stocks meet this criteria I do a Stochrsi system test and look for a large percent of winners vs. losers. If stocks pass this test I move on to TC2000: I check Price>5>13>40 MA. Look at BOP and MoneyFlow Then I enter the trade. My StochRSI(14) Explorer also gives me sells(stochrsi14 crossing below 70. If DNS still looks good (8) and the market looks good I may stay in the trade and exit with DNS(3). If indicators look weak I'll exit with Stochrsi(14). This is the main workings of the system I'm using(not everything). Its not really mine but mostly things I have learned from great people like Dave, Richard, Jerry, Andy, Chan, you Chris ect.
