I dont understand why intelligent design is such a big deal for so many. ID allows one to buy into the science of evolution and still believe that a supreme being originally turned on the switch. I agree its not something that should be taught as a separate course but no biggie for me while teaching science, the teacher mentions it as an explanation thats out there. Whats the opposite of intelligent design? Random walk--thats ok too or how about unintelligent design or a universe created by a shmuck. Come to think of it, sometimes this planet in this age looks like the last one, no??
