Brian, i think Andy and Bill are making big fools out of analysts and mutaul fund. HQ estimates, merril and Zack estimates for intc 98 are so low it's all most thoughtless. They just added 18% because Andy says semicon industry grows @ 18%. 1. how can dell, cpq and all be doing so well and not intel and msft. 2. amat and equiptmentmakers are doing well means intel et al, is spending money for future .... 3. i read today, that intel cut prices but boxmakers are not passing down the discount. That means demand is hot. i really think 98 estmiates should be 5.25 but that's too far from 4.75. Lets hope for revisions soon. Why do all analyst have low estimates not just one. Yet all of us on intel thread think we are going to 110. Maybe we should hire Margert as our thread's analyst.
