I think you're trying to recall Fred Alpers' name, Richard. He's the one that spent all the time with Peter as I recall. My only recollection of things Peter posted afterward was that fixed boxes were best, but I've never found the secret to setting the values. So I think you're right about Gann box settings, since that's what I use, too. :-) I find interpretation, though, is highly subjective except in hindsight. Looking backward I always see what I should have seen; looking forward I see whatever I want to see. I've found that the retracements to (and reversals at) the 50% line, though, are not to be ignored.

I recall a statement from the tapes that suggests that if you aren't seeing proper Elliott waves, you may be looking in the wrong time frame, i.e. you may have to switch to weekly or monthly to see a better interpretation in GET.
