Like I said the other day, the government after a storm is looked upon as a problem, not a solution up here. When the tornado wiped out Ladysmith a few years back guys with chainsaws and equipment from all over this part of the state were there the next day. By day 3 when the gov and someone from DC flew over to see what kind of assistance was needed there wasn't any needed.

If people would be brought up to fend for themselves as we were for generations we would all be a lot better off. But the politicians are like crack dealers IMO, hook you a little at a time. Best way to insure their own existence and best way to justify expanding the government and spending.
