GZ, That book is exactly along the same line as I believe.

This is all caused by lack of morals, splintered families, too much wealth too easily, and greed. In comparison, we are on the downward slope of the same mountain that destroyed the Ancient Roman Empire. I'm sure you have read "The Rise And Fall Of The Roman Empire". That is an indication that the old adage, "If we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it" is very true.
