As I said earlier, I only consider the HMI a survey of sentiments with no statistical value whatsoever. As long as th index did not turn up, I am assuming there are no surprise uptick in traffic during the last few weeks.

KBH is undoubtedly going to "beat" earnings again based on everything that has already been reported. Their guidance forward, the net new orders, cancellations and any color on current conditions are going to set the tone for the sector.
