I'm not eager to follow the Australian model: disarm yourself and eject people who want to harm you. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Like this Moussaoui case. Our system is so perverse that it not only permits but encourages people to come over here and blow us up without suffering the consequences.

My model would be something like:

1. American culture is worthy of its own right. Other cultures add to its richness, but we can't tolerate them trying to replace it or set themselves up apart from it (i.e. multiculturalism)

2. American culture includes the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If you can't live with that, go away.

3. The Bill of Rights protects (not grants) our rights, including the right to keep and bear arms.

4. You can come to our country and join us if you want to assimilate into American culture and add your own richness to it. Not if you want to be a part apart.

5. You can visit and look around, but not under false pretenses and not if your intent is to harm us.

6. If you can't abide by 1 through 5, then you must leave, vis a vis the Australian model.

7. If you don't leave, then we will eject you by force if necessary.

8. If you resist being ejected by force, you are responsible for what happens to you, nobody else.
