I think the problem with our fight in Vietnam was that it was fought from the Oval Office and LBJ, and not by the generals in the field... we were there with one hand tied behind our back and the other wearing kidd gloves... strategically, it was a disaster only because we never unleashed our forces... as a result, our will to win was sorely eroded and further weakened by leftist protests here at home... it was said that the enemy had the will to win but lacked the equipment to fight us, and we had the equipment to fight, but lacked the will to win... GZ
