That's why I refuse to read manuals.
All devices must be intuitive.

Of course, I don't know how to adjust the controls
on our heating/AC system (unless I just do a manual
up and down of the temp), wouldn't touch the sprinkler
controls, and haven't a clue about the DVD player, though
I did manage to learn how to work the TV in concert with
the sound system, using 2 controls, after only a minimal
oral instruction from my spouse.

If anything ever happened to him before he gets around
to giving me the shorthand version of written instructions
for all these things, our landscaping will languish, and I'll either die of pneumonia, heat prostration or TV/cable induced boredom....lol
