TWATson, it was never a question that the levees would fail given a cat 4 storm. PRESIDENT CHIMP was warned about that well before the storm occured. PRESIDENT CHIMP cut funding to levee maintenance. It's highly questionable that the supposed engineering SNAFU was the cause of the breach. PRESIDENT CHIMP did nothing after the storm occured despite warnings of the dire consequences. There was zippo response from the Feds for many days. PRESIDENT CHIMP is responsible for the human tragedy that continues in the aftermath of Katrina. PRESIDENT CHIMP doesn't give a damn that victims of his negligence continue to live in 3rd World Conditions. Perhaps that was PRESIDENT CHIMP's intention.
