US Democratic Senate leader Paul Wellstone comes to mind. He had told the audience at a meeting just before his jet crashed and killed him on take-off that VP Dick Cheney had personally "threatened" him if he didn't "back-off" of his staunch anti-IraQ War stance. I lived just outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul at that time and was actually quite amazed that the local news teams were also reporting that they felt his death was "Highly Suspicious"!!!! Rogue
