Clonton gave us the best most sustainable economy in 40 years. What are you talking about? The year he left, Bush was handed a 225 billion dollar surplus. Which he turned into 3+ trillion in deficits, and counting.

Unemployment was the lowest ever under Clinton, even black teenagers fully employed. Poverty was down, the rich did fine but so did everyone else. The markets soared. The US was working fluidly with all our allies. There were no great tensions in the world. And Clinton was more vigilant against Al Qaida than Bush was. No president is perfect, but Clinton did a great job and left office with a 65% approval rating despite the biggest most dishonest smear campaign in history waged by the far right.

When Bush came into office, cheating to get there I might add, he immediately turned into a hardline neocon military-industrial robot and cared about nothing else. Tax cuts for the rich, SDI (useless and hugely expensive) and relaxing pollution rules were his three priorities. He never even mentioned terrorism. And of course he was allowing massive energy gouging the whole time.

Turns out Bush totally lied in the 2000 campaign, a bait and switch move finished off with his brother Jeb cheating in Florida to get him into power. And Cheney didn't divest all his Halliburton stoick. He kept a big chnk of it then started dreaming up wats for Halliburton stock to quadruple.

Bush-Cheney don't give a damn about average Americans. Clionton really did. Clinton did a lot for the people and the world. Bush made everything worse and now we're stuck with no way out of the problems he's created, except getting a whole new government, an honest one this time.
