Zarquawi might be the target. i said about a month ago that three things had to happen for our effort to work out. 1. shiaa need to control militias 2. sunnis need to participate in DOD and interior 3. sunnis need to give up foreign and home grown terrorists. This op smacks of #3 and if successful 1&2 may follow. Sunnis have to give up terrorists for a unified iraq to arise from the ashes. The Gordon/Trainor book i am sure will become required reading in the war colleges going forward. Cobra comes from the Patton maneuver in WW2 that was mimiced in iraq.
