I don't have to go that far afield to prove it. I'm watching the BS coming from the politicians on my local TV stations as the current cost of energy is now going to be passed down to Maryland consumers resulting in a 72% rise in the average BGE bill here in Maryland. Our utilities were deregulated years ago but they had low priced long term contracts on electricity that have finally run out. It is fruitless to try to explain to people that they were getting a break up to this point and now they are going to pay the current price. All they see is some stupid conspiracy to screw poor people and the politicos are telling them exactly what they want to hear. It makes me crazy.
