The scary thought of the day is that an air attack on Iran, however that might be constituted, would be the October surprise in time for the midterms. Today, though, the admin is negotiating with Iran over Iraq. They have been accusing Iran of sending in troops but have now decided that there is zero evidence of that. Curious, that. I think most of Washington is now officially psychotic.
