they say it is going to be a real ripper...... It certainly looks that way. The Atlantic hurricane cycle is back into an active phase, Gulf waters are warmer than normal, thanks to a warm winter in North America (Europe and Asia had a cold one), and finally, we've got a La Niña condition as well this year, which enhances Atlantic hurricane formation. Batten down the hatches time coming up for Gulf and Atlantic seaboard residents...
