Unless this hovering slightly above $25 scares off potential investors (most who don't know about the option expiration effect): "Gee, a couple of weeks ago it was at $28-29, now it's only at $26... maybe I will wait another week to buy in."

Yeah, it will bounce back. After all, 3Q earnings is coming out in a few more weeks. But it's right before October option expiration, which should make an interesting week.
