Taking the updated information in the previous table, this is a closer look comparing 2005 to 2006 for Bookings and Billings. - BOOKINGS - YR YR - 2005 2006 DIFF PCT MONTH (M) (M) (M) DIFF JAN 986 1226 240 24 FEB 1024 1297 273 27 MAR 988 APR 999 MAY 1015 JUN 1038 JUL 1007 AUG 1022 SEP 984 OCT 1094 NOV 1093 DEC 1143 TOTAL 12395 2523 -9872 -80 2 mth 2011 2523 512 25 Looking at the bottom line, Bookings are 512M higher for the 1st 2 months of this year compared to last year. So for the first 2 months of this year, Bookings are 25 percent higher than the first 2 months of last year. Based on rising, and recent upward revisions in chip sales for this year, Bookings should continue to greatly exceed the "low" numbers for last year on a month by month basis. Now on to the Billings. - BILLINGS - YR YR - 2005 2006 DIFF PCT MONTH (M) (M) (M) DIFF JAN 1259 1259 1 0 FEB 1331 1286 -45 -3 MAR 1273 APR 1239 MAY 1213 JUN 1152 JUL 1078 AUG 1056 SEP 1088 OCT 1146 NOV 1180 DEC 1224 TOTAL 14237 2546 -11692 -82 2 mth 2589 2546 -44 -2 Not much to get excited about here, the 1st 2 months of this year are about the same as the first 2 months of last year. However, as the months go forward, with Bookings substantially above last years numbers, Billings will also increase substantially from last year.
