It was the longest 15 seconds of my life!!!!

I was backing out of my driveway and the first wave made the asphalt hit my muffler........I thought the wheels had fallen off that side of my car. When i looked up and saw the streetlights swaying like a palmtree in a hurricane I knew then what was happening!

My husband came walking out of the house shaking his head after it was over. My elder son had been caught in the stairway and the wall hit him and knocked him down.

My oldest son was playing water polo and the water washed them up and out of the pool. The goalee was caught in the net and the coach pulled him out.

The morning of the quake there was a huge cow lying dead in the road on my way to work. It had gone wild, broke through a fence and got hit by a car. The large bloated body was lying there and I wonder if animals do know beforehand that a quake is coming.
