Last night I stumbled on a fund-raiser for PBS. They had The Smothers Brothers and Judy Collins emceeing. I didn't see them sing, but I'm sure they did. I saw Judy Collins sing once in a Hootenany before she was famous. They had the Beach Boys on, The Limeliters including Glenn Yarbrough who sang one with their accompaniment and then a couple of numbers as a quartet. I think Hasselev was the only original in the Limeliters. Then they had the Brothers Four. The music is timeless and sounded exactly like I remember from forty years ago. The musicians, however, were all OLD FARTS. Not at all like I remembered them. I thought they were all young, like me. Oh.
