Over at craigslist, someone debunked the rightwing lie about Gore: Why did IP, a free networking protocol, beat out novell's IPX, the leading networking protocol at the time, and microsoft's Netbui? the reason why the internet uses IP, is because Gore pushed the hell out of it by funding it thru the NSF net. back when you didn't even have a modem, Gore was out there pounding the platform for a free and standard network protocol to build the information superhighway. yes, Gore coined that phrase. so now when you pugs ask why I pump my gas at Citgo, think about why you can even respond to that post here via the internet.
