So, Unc. Sam is going to rebate you seven grand, but make it up in new gas taxes, correct? If that is so, what happens to the already high gas taxes that are tacked on a gallon of gas?

And the interest free loans are coming out of STATES budgets, funded by a 700.00 tax too? What happens to the already expensive state sales tax being charged? (In Texas, currently 6`/4 percent. PLUS, it seems to me that the auto companies will figure ou right quick that they can increase the standard on their gas guzzlers and avoid the 700 bucks.

BTW, IMO gas is still a bargain at 3.00 a gallon.
