Finally saw "Munich" in the theater. Excellent. Learned a lot of stuff about the assassination of the Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics I didn't know. Among other things. Once again, I am boggled by the pundits and commentators -- I am starting to think they don't actually watch the movies they commentate about. Not anti-Israel. Not pro-Palestine. Doesn't argue for moral equivalence between them. Does argue that revenge has the unfortunate problem of inciting retaliation. And that killing people tends to be problematic for the thinking man, or one with a conscience. Last night (by coincidence) watched "A History of Violence" on DVD. Interesting parallels.
