It's not anything to advocate or not. Do I advocate people being black? No one makes a choice here. I don't wake up one day and say Hey, I'm going to be heterosexual. Your son or daughter does not make that choice....
My wife has a cousin who is married and has three children... Three years ago, he announced to everyone that he was gay. Then last Thanksgiving at a family gathering, someone had cobbled together a bunch of old 8mm films from 1958 to 1963 and had them converted to DVD format. So we're all sitting around watching this stuff, and there's the kid (the future gay father) at age 9 to 13... There must have been 20 of us in the room watching this DVD and we all said, it was as plain as day, this boy was a fag... At a very young age he had so many female or gay mannerisms, there was no denying he had the look. "Look, N. was a fagella even then." So what are we to do with kids like this, punish them, torment them, teach them more about Jesus and Christian love. What? They are who they are, and we need to accept that. There's nothing wrong, it is a fact, and not anything moral or immoral... This 10 year old boy is not an immoral person, if anything, the immorality lies with those that judge him... I see you would have happily branded this child as an immoral person... But then, what does tha make you? Mr. Moral, Mr. Righteous ... what? |
