>>>If Saddam didn't have WMD, he should have let the inspectors do their job, but there could be anything buried in that desert. We also know now that he was making a lot of oil for food laundry money and he was in bed with the countries that opposed us. We played games with him for a decade and he was/is a terrorist.<<<
I guess you must have thought Saddam was A-OK so long as he was our "terrorist"--remember, both Rumsfeld and Cheney did business with him.
Regarding the inspectors? I know Bush, Cheney, et. al.--many Democrats even--kept parroting the line "Saddam kicked out the weapons inspectors." Clear fact is: he didn't. The inspectors were pulled by Clinton--under intense pressure from the Monica debacle--when he opted decided to bomb Iraq, thus, withdrawing the inspectors.
Oil for Food? I realize the supposedly "liberal" media gave Sen Norm Coleman's charges the most newsplay, but you have noticed that Coleman has been relatively silent on the issue for a long, long time. On this issue, I encourage you to reexamine your position more closely:

As far as "playing games with him," Bush has chosen the most deadly of all games: war. And way, way too many Americans have died and become injured and way, way too many innocent Iraqis have died and become injured all due to Bush's deadly game. |
