What's interesting to me is how the leftists have such utter control of the debate in the media, academic and entertainment outlets. They tend to ascribe to the theory that big lies repeated over and over, ad nauseam, is effective propaganda. Eventually, these lies are set in stone, so to speak, and provide a platform for further rhetoric and demagoguery. Not one in a hundred notices the subtle and not so subtle word-smithing foisted upon the citizenry via their local fish-wrap, etc. Indeed, that's part of the plan - those with long memory, institutional or otherwise, need not apply. You'll be dead before long, and a new crop of muddle-headed useful idiots who won't even know how things "used to be".

It's just a given that "Bush Lied" (TM) for example, and this shall ever and always be the case with our leftist colleagues. A similar analogy might be the lefty's fawning over, say, Alger Hiss during the 50's. They cannot let go, ever. Facts are of no particular import, indeed they are anathema to virtually any discussion, since they are squarely in opposition to their version of reality. Truth is relative, and in the eye of the beholder. Objectivity must be crushed.
