mchjc, your issues have nothing to do with Transmit. I'll try to help...

Have had some negative comments from some SI folk about my charts...One, they are "too dark"....don't quite follow this, because what I see looks fine.

Matter of Gamma. The complainers are Windows users. Images on Windows monitors appear darker than Mac monitors. Therefore, when preparing the charts, you may consider correcting the Gamma of your images to Windows standards -- or better still, half way between Mac and Windows. To set your Mac so its monitor appears much like a PC's, go System Preferences > Displays, click Color, then Calibrate, then Continue, and then select 2.2 Television Gamma and guit out of System Preferences. Welcome to Windows murkiness. If your charts look good with your monitor set this way, Windows people will love them. Make them a tad lighter, and everyone *should* be happy. :-)

Also , everything is in the "TIFF' format, which some say they can't open.

Instead of TIFF, you should save your images as JPEGs for the web. Open them in Preview (in your Applications folder) and go File > Save As > Format > JPEG. Your newly saved files will have a new ending, namely .jpg instead of .tiff. Trash the .tiff files, Transmit the .jpg files and bingo, everyone *should* be happy, again. :-)
