Dan, George Tenet said the meeting could not be confirmed and that he was increasingly skeptical that a meeting took place. He said that on March 9th 2004.

The rumor started on an unconfirmed tip of an eyewitness sighting. Ruzek of the BIA, Czech intelligence, said the information was raw unvetted hearsay. He shared that raw info with the FBI.

The rumor was leaked by an un-named US official to the news a week later.

Ruzek was furious that this unvetted intelligence was released, as it completely screwed up his investigation of the case, and compromised his agents following the Iraqi Embassy.

Further it can be assumed that the Iraqi Embassy was well aware they they were under surveillance...so why meet with someone so publicly who was involved in 9-11? That would defy logic.

The meeting cannot be confirmed in any way shape or form. Why do you hold on so tight to this sliver of a fantasy?
