Ted, and then Japan beat Korea last Saturday. Drove two hours to watch that game as well. Argh, the agony of defeat.

Korea beat Japan twice before and was undefeated going into this semifinal match. Only the third time did it really "count." It should have been Korea vs. America last Saturday, and I wouldn't have minded if Korea lost to America. Of course, Mexico eliminates America, and even one Japanese reporter told the Mexican coach, "Muchas Gracias."

Man, that Japanese pitcher Uehara was on fire. He was throwing darts all night. I will remember that name.
