Did anybody see "Jarhead?" Against my better judgment, I watched the DVD. I thought it badly misrepresented the Marine Corps. It was sort of an anti-Topgun movie, designed to discourage people from joining the Corps. The characters were childish and threw tantrums when they got bored or didn't get what they wanted. They were out of the action the whole time, and were one-upped by an A-10 that blew up a control tower where their sniper targets were housed. That really frosted them. Apparently I am not alone.
