Dick Vitale is not biased in favor of Duke.

Dick Vitale is Mr. Positive. He hates bashing and bashers. He likes celebrating greatness. When a player makes a great play, he goes crazy. Whatever team is winning, Vitale will mindlessly cheer than on. That's his style. I hate his style, but that's what it is.

And in the big picture, Duke is the best basketball program in the country, bar none. They win more than anyone, they have higher academic standards than their competition, their players carry themselves with class on the court, and they rarely (if ever) get into trouble off the court. Again, any announcer who does not acknowledge these facts consistently and repetitively is exhibiting an anti-Duke bias.
