Well, Gibson's dad is a whacko.
But you totally distorted what the article said. To wit:

It's true, the critics did tar him for being anti-Semitic, in part because of his whacko father. Right here on PFP. But he's not. And the article, as a whole, was very complimentary.
Looks like a great movie. Although you probably won't see it. Two reasons -- it's pro-environment, and Gibson says stuff like this about the bad guys in the movie: "The fearmongering we depict in this film reminds me a little of President Bush and his guys."
Not to worry. Many will formulate their opinions based on what they're told by Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, et al., and will not hesitate to express those opinions, alternating with saying nasty things about how the media misleads people. |
