GZ...I understand your argument. Would you agree that there was (is) a segment of the republican/conservative side that can do nothing without bashing Clinton? I watched the fair and balanced Fox News over the weekend. Their example of Fair and Balanced on "The Beltway Boys" is to put conservative Mort Kondracke against very conservative Fred Barnes. Even then they had a hard time not bashing the democrats while offering very little, if anything, positive about the current course of the administration. Bashing seems to be a two way street.

And I would disagree with you if you think most of America does not see conservatives such as Tom Delay, Karl Rove, Pat Robertson, and others as bashers and dividers not uniters.

As for Bush being honest....I can't say he is dishonest. But he seems so unintelligent that it takes away from the other attributes. Add to his inability to speak clearly and with conviction on any subject without slipping into the jargon of the Texas good ol' boy with the seeming incompetence of his administration's recent activities..(Harriet Miers, Katrina, Ports, spending, Iraq buildup and subsequent administration) it does not give one comfort.
