What an excuse! If the President took one of those bills to his press conference (when he dares to have one) and just read out some of the earmarks....then said to the American people that this junk is why I am vetoing this bill until congress brings me something on point, with the spending limited to the purposes stated......it would shame congress into getting into line.

Bush is so weak, or uninvolved on the budget front....what a shame. He has the power. He won't use it.

Even when the republicans have complete control of every branch of government...it's still the democrats fault. Amazing.
