So you think a secular government--one situated next to the theocratic nation of Iran, which Iraq fought with for eight long years--would cozy up to a leader wanting to instill a theocracy throughout if not the entire world, at least the entire MidEast region? Makes no sense. OBL was an enemy of Saddam and represented a threat to his own government.

I find it further interesting that even though Bush and Cheney have reluctantly admitted there's no OBL-Saddam connection, some of you folks just can't bear to make the same admission. That makes no sense either!
